Supported Independent Living (SIL)

At Good Steps Disability, we provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) to help you with daily life while building independence in a safe, comfortable home. Our SIL support includes:

Meal preparation and cooking
Medication management and reminders
Keeping your home clean, tidy, and safe 
Transport to appointments and community activities

Short-term/medium-term accomodation

We believe short term/medium term stay should not be just an accommodation; at Good Steps Disability we make sure that our accommodation care is a beautiful life experience. Our short-term/medium-term stay gives you an opportunity to indulge yourself with ultimate relaxation and build essential life skills or just have fun doing an activity with your carer.

Individualised Living Options (ILO)

ILO is an NDIS support that helps people with a disability live in a home of their choice with support. You can choose how you want to live, where you live, and who you live with. ILO doesn’t provide the house or dwelling itself, but rather a flexible package of supports in your home which are just right for you. At Good Steps Disability we’ll work closely with you to find out what you need to kick off your ILO journey. Here’s what you need to know.

High-Intensity Support Services

High-Intensity Support Services

Good Steps Disability has a very experienced and capable clinical team comprised of Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses & Clinical Nurses who are able to deliver specialist care for participants requiring high care needs. Our Nurses are empathetic & professional and are well-trained to respond to the participant’s complex needs. Our experienced Support Workers work alongside our Nurses to further develop their skills and knowledge to provide top-quality complex care such as: We offer a range of high-intensity supports, including: 

Complex Bowel Care
Enteral (Nasogastric tube) Feeding and management
Tracheostomy management
Urinary catheter management
Medications management & monitoring
Subcutaneous injection
Complex wound management
Clinical waste management (infectious/hazardous substances)
